The one common factor in any marketing is relating to the target audience. A subject matter that the consumer can relate to while answering the needs of those customers is the key to people buying into whatever you are selling. A recent Human resources project I am working on leaned on this approach. Our company is young and fast growing which can also lead to assumptions of volatility to the candidate considering joining the company. Create a very human easy to relate feeling that spins this issue as opportunity and not risk is the goal.
Dispelling the negative sentiments through content and imagery is the first step in getting your content really heard.

If you have been involved in any sort of paid social media campaign building then you know about the pesky Instagram and Facebook 20% rule. Facebook will reject any ads that use over 20% of the image for text. Now the pesky part is that this is determined by a grid system in which any…

I sure do hate link bait posts like “top 5 ways you to get the job!” or “7 gifts every girl will love every time!”. This type of social media bait is the scourge of LinkedIn and similar platforms. In the world of Twitter there are more people than ever are “doing it wrong”. Today…
PPC, Digital & Search Marketing Stories
So this story “breaks”: Two Seattle residents have found their own way to capitalize on the burgeoning marijuana industry — and it doesn’t involve growing or even selling pot. The friends, who call themselves “domainers,” buy the domain names for as low as $8.99 and are aiming to sell each for a minimum of $10,000….
I decided to see what news is out there from the latest Google Penguin 3.0 news updates of the past week. I began with Aaron Wall’s blog because Aaron is much more “tell it like it is” than most other “reputable” sources online. I have always found Aaron’s views to be very similar to my…
No secret that my mind is constantly on advertising. If the commercial is a good one on the radio I prefer it over most of the music. Now, not every observation I make is meaningful, but the process of always viewing products, and life, with the knowledge tha it is being marketed changes a lot…
The funny thing about online marketing is that if you do it right the target audience will find you and they will think it was their idea. So it is like 93 degrees here and I stumbled across Brothers International Food website, a company from my hometown of Rochester, NY that sells Freeze-Dried Fruit Snacks….
I have always preached the value of experiencing SEO for yourself before you preach. All good SEO or conversion types learn quickly that any information without substantial grounds for such belief is counterproductive and in some cases maybe purposely misleading. I had told an up and coming SEO strategist once to pick some SERPS that…
My WordPress based sites almost always have a collection of IF_Frontpage wordpress statements. When I see something specific I want to be used on the most important page for SEO I just work it in the template myself. Your homepage will always have the most SEO juice (exceptions could be possible in odd circumstances). If…
Looking for ways to track a cell phone? How to track by the GPS on a phone? If the user has Gmail on their phone or anything that uses a Gmail account like YouTube (which 99% of phones use), then you an most likely see exactly where the phone was and the exact time it…
Cool, Google sent me a free cake, a thank you note and featured me on the Google Partners North America Spotlight. The cake arrived a bit smushed, but the kids still liked it. I think this is poetic justice for all the doorway pages and spammy links I have built over the last 12+ years….
