Ok, This is about a mile from our office at CGR. I am scanning street level looking for a Off Broadway shoes to pick up some new kicks. Like others, I get hooked on zooming up and down the street with the very cool Google Maps. Did you know you can look upo with Google maps at street level? I had never tried nor noticed before.
Bing has been running quite a few ads targetting Google as an “invader of privacy”. Bing even featured the map car driving by in the foreground filming everyone.
Well, some photos are worth 1000 words, and others worth a Motifake.

If you have been involved in any sort of paid social media campaign building then you know about the pesky Instagram and Facebook 20% rule. Facebook will reject any ads that use over 20% of the image for text. Now the pesky part is that this is determined by a grid system in which any…

I sure do hate link bait posts like “top 5 ways you to get the job!” or “7 gifts every girl will love every time!”. This type of social media bait is the scourge of LinkedIn and similar platforms. In the world of Twitter there are more people than ever are “doing it wrong”. Today…

Currently I am in the process of vetting a chat solution for our organization. Our organizational need will be about 4 operators to include customer service and some escalations regarding sales and business accounts. Reading a very old MOZ post on eye tracking studies regarding pizza searches, I felt like I was seeing some conclusions that got glossed over or left out. Much of the eye tracking opinion surrounded the visuals on the page and what appears draw the human eye by how it contrasts to the page itself….
My WordPress based sites almost always have a collection of IF_Frontpage wordpress statements. When I see something specific I want to be used on the most important page for SEO I just work it in the template myself. Your homepage will always have the most SEO juice (exceptions could be possible in odd circumstances). If…
Why run ads that point to someone else’s website? “When you do something right people won’t know you did anything at all.” I have always preached that the best plan in advertising online is to not look like it was your plan. You want to predict your target audience and then have a compelling argument…
I have always preached the value of experiencing SEO for yourself before you preach. All good SEO or conversion types learn quickly that any information without substantial grounds for such belief is counterproductive and in some cases maybe purposely misleading. I had told an up and coming SEO strategist once to pick some SERPS that…
